Anyone heard of using PVC pipe instead of a 2 lb lead for balance to your dive floater? Someone told me it's a new thing now and it really works. I'm thinking of trying it.

eh nice pics hayn...If you ever need one partner let me know I always looking. As far as your question on PVC or lead...I use lead but, one of the guys I dive with uses PVC. He said works good plus it's a little bit lighter to carry down your gear. Cut the ends angled like this /+++++/ My friend said helps with the flow kind of like one skeg on one surf board.(instead of flat) |+++++| You can also use it to hold extra 3 prong so it don't drag in shallow water. I just clip one small foam floater to my prongs and clip it to the float works good for keeping it off reef in shallow waters. Aloha and dive safe
