This 973 pound Pacific Blue Marlin was the second-largest fish ever caught in the 49-year history of the Hawaiian International Billfish Tournament. The angler Robert Dudley of California landed it using 50 lb. test line.
The entire 2 hour 20 minute fight, from hook up to landing, was caught on HD video by Dean Sensui of Hawaii Goes Fishing who was the only cameraman on board.
After the exhausting fight, Dean had to put down his camera to help pull the monster fish into the boat!
Although local and national media are asking for footage, you will see it first on Hawaii Goes Fishing on OC16!
It will also be available on-line (no pun intended).
